Seems the world of the dominant culture wants people to always come with their most sparkly self. At the same time, it preys on a sense of inferiority, of less than. Seems to be a paradoxical trap. We’re required, or expected, to be our best shiny selves AND seek faster, better, more because you got something you want to sell me.
The healers, foodies, and others of the online social community seem to introduce themselves by try’in’a hook the complex demon that lurks in us all. tapping into the voice asking ,”am I worthy?”
Intro voice of professional helper/healer…,”hi, do you feel like you’re not good enough? I have what you need. I’ll give you that thing to be your best, but I’ll need to keep reinforcing, somehow subliminally, that you still have more work to do, more money to give me the healer. So I’ll neglect the fact that you are your own best healer and all the healing systems you need live inside you already. That I, this healer person, actually cannot help you until you connect with your inner pharmacy and organism of rulership, your own inner royal saibhung giving of your own ship, your vessel. If the hook is taken, they say I’ll learn from them how to make my sparkle shine. And it will cost, lots of cash. But first they’ll spend some time reinforcing the sense of personal deficiency. Because if people don’t feel impaired, they don’t need the magic potion, or process, or prophecy. Seems the honest healer would remind people how perfect the manifestation of them is truly a miracle. When I want/ need whatever they got, I’ll find it. Or it will find me. Poking at unworthiness is a poor introduction.
Ah, the secret power potion. You’ll get it when you get it. Time can’t be rushed. Rushing might just slow it down. Anything worthy of your time will be within your reach. Patience is powerful. It helps make wise decisions. Not rushed.
I like to remember that all things sparkle in the bigger vibration of what it is. Even the unwanted shitty parts of the self. Seems the marketeers reel in the line and try to hook while withholding the information I seek. Telling me all the wonderful mysterious things it or they will instantly do for me, how much of a better person I’ll be, how I’ll travel to luxurious places, be surrounded by magnetic and majestic people, how I’ll stop feeling “less than”. ( But please feel less than long enough to give me your money).
The money cost is what people want to know. And how much time will it take? Can I afford the magic? Do I have the patience?Because we all want instant nirvana, right? And we keep receiving that instant karma that keeps us in samsara. But damn, we wanna soak up the sensual sublime and party like animals, right?
Hmmm, the person (or advertisement) first tried to infuse me with feeling incomplete. This is a crucial element needed for me to hold, lack of wholeness. Then, maybe I’ll pay you for your magic potion, you think. Maybe you don’t want me to overcome my sense of insufficiency? Because if I’m not susceptible, I won’t purchase your next fantastic, whatever it is, thing you want to sell me.
When I’m doing my thing, in my flow, I feel integral to the natural processes of Earth’s systems. We’re all an emanation of the light AND dark. We’re all here to do our things and return to the One, complete wholeness. While here, we’re split. Dual and dwelling in the in-between, the liminal space that earth emminates. And that doesn’t mean we’re incomplete or insufficient. That just means we’re human.
